How usual, or unusual, is it for people to give their homes names in Thailand? Here in my village in Wales it is the norm and none of the houses have numbers, and even the estate my uncle lives on in the local town are only named not numbered. I was fairly old before I found out everyones home doesn't have a name.
![]() Though where my brother and where my sister live they only have numbers. So how about Thailand? Our home in Isaan is called ね光词锹 by my wife and I, as opposed to the temporary 'shack' we had for 12 months that became known as ね光传锹. ![]() David |
