I just looked at wickipedia description of Thailand, and something seemed incredible..-the Thai per capita income,...it says that Thai gnp-Gross National Products-ammounted to over 500 Billions$, and that would make Thai per capita income 8,000$...now this means that every citizen would get 8,000$ if the GNP was equaly distributed, whether someone works or not, child or senior citizen, each person would get that amount per year. Now my wife is working, and has a good job, by Thai standards, getting about 20,000 bhts. monthly, so yearly that would come to about 7,600$ way below the per capita figure...The huge difference in figures between this-the workers salaries and GNP is obvious, ...so do all these unaccounted billions $$ go to small percentage of Thai richest?...
