Buddhist Funeral.

I have just attended my first Buddhist funeral last Sunday-here in Bkk.-(and I taped it on my video cam. I was told it is not objectionable to the berieved)..It was unique experience to me...and as all funerals are-it was touching, with the music (which was not overly loud) then ceremony of family of the dead giving offerings of orange clothes/robes, to the temple priests...and down to the last goodbye...closing of coffin,...and pushing it into the crematory ovenhttp://www.thailandqa.com/forum/imag...es/shocked.gif...Though I was explained some things about Buddhist funeral...still some things I don't know...like how about much does a temple charge for cremating a deceased...i.e. how much does an average Buddhist funeral cost?... who supplies the coffin?..the temple, or the family of the dead?....When a person dies in Thailand at home or in some accident what comes next?...calling police?..or funeral temple?......http://www.thailandqa.com/forum/images/smilies/rock.gif

Lots of different answers to most of those questions and my PC so slow I will let someone explain things, but we paid about 100k for the funeral in the album on my fotki site in the photo link in my sig if you would care to look at it.
