But one thing I've noticed that many young girls in Asian or Thailand love to have long straight hair, and europeans or american gals would be jealous thick long black hair. Why should we dyred color like your women, we have already beautiful black hair.

nam phyyng, please don't misunderstand. I said it looks unkept compared to western standards. I don't mean that they are not hygienic, it's more simple and less dolled up than western women, that's all. The comparison is being made because hunsolo is a westerner and that's his observation.

My friend's Thai girlfriend has these long kinda bushy bangs and my ex said she looks like she just came from Thailand, too. I didn't say either way was better either. But to hunsolo's question, yes, there is a similarity in the way most Thai women do their hair and simplicity is the one word that can describe it for me. I know girls that will spend hours just to make their hair straight like Thai women, too.

I've been around a lot of Thai women, but never heard of even one of them using lime juice on her hair. They wouldn't want to waste it that way, when instead they can put it in their ÊéÁµÓ !

Sorry, I got the lime juice thing a bit wrong. I have since found that it is the juice of the kaffir lime fruit (not ordinary limes) that you wash your hair in. According to my Thai friend it is the best thing for making your hair "shiny and black".

BTW: After travelling to Bangkok my first actions are a shower, a haircut and shave at one of the many salons, then a Thai massage. Does wonders for you after sitting on planes for 20 odd hours!
