Hi Tjau Min,
I never have send a package with gold inside to Thailand, but sending a golden bracelet with the post is not allowed:

I think you allways can send a present to someone in Thailand, but the value will be a big issue.

Default Sending goods to thailand
Just phoned UPS and Fed-Ex as I want to send a golden bracelet to someone in Bangkok. The persons I spoke told me certain gifts aren't allowed to pass through Thai Customs but weren't completely sure about which goods.

Does anybody happen to know more about this? If gold isn't allowed I will have to look for another gift.
