I am new to this but i know you do need to leave the country at periods i dont know if it varies for what ever reason you are in the country but my uncle had to do this on his visa but from pattaya they ran regular busses for people like this to make the journey to Cambodia and get their passports stamped and come back again......

I would suggest that you contact either the International Student Services department at Thammasat or the Visa Section of the nearest Thai embassy or consulate.

Royal Thai Consulate, BORDEAUX
26 Avenue Carnot,
33200 Bordeaux, France
Tel. (335) 56023188
Fax: (335) 57221170

Royal Thai Consulate, LYON
8, rue Sala,
69002 Lyon, France
Tel. (334) 78371658
Fax: (334)

Royal Thai Consulate-General, MARSEILLE
10, Place de la Joliette,
13015 Marseille, France
Tel. (334) 91916757
Fax: (334) 91994700

You need official information and/or documentation; you don't want to be guessing about visa requirements. When I attended university in Thailand, the program supervisor and staff attended to all visa needs for me. I never had to leave the country for the year that I studied there. Good luck.

just few technical questions left, about the visa, I was checking on legalthailand.com and I saw that I belong the category that must take this strange visa, you know the one you have to leave the country at least every 3 months in order to extend its validity length...

am I right?

who can explain to me?
