I was watching the Thai television as usual after the soap opera I'm starting to watch and later they showed a little adorable small baby..later it came onto this scene where it showed the mother's nipple!!!!!!!! I was very surprised at this because here, in America, they would blur it out just as they would bleep out the explicit words..I was wondering does Thailand often do this? I mean when I was in Thailand I watched television there but now a lot. Too busy traveling and boys hehe.

Not really.. I have two of those that I see everyday LOL haha har har!!!! I wasn't really offended of seeing a nipple on the Thai television. I was just surprised that they didn't blur it out but of course I'm just a typical brainwashed Asian-American teenage girl!! Anyways, I might be living in Thailand after I finish high school so you know!!! Hehe grr.. hold on Ethan is getting me mad..

Oh, I abslutely agree! I used to tell Americans stories about my everyday life in Europe, and it was hilarious watching their shocked faces, and their surprised (maybe disgusted, hehe) expressions every five minutes!
So, yeah, Americans have a reputation of being more liberal only because when they are going wild, they are over-the-top, but they are actually very conservative as far as everyday life goes. ![]() But better get back to the original topic, hehe: So, you were surprised by the sight of a nipple in Thailand, Anna? No wonder; seeing such a thing is not for inncent, young girls like you! ![]() 5555! ![]() |

Nipples are for feeding babies. I do not see anything offensive in that context. American's are just uptight because most of them are "christians" and take offense at just about everything. My experience with Thais is that, although they tend to be modest in dress and behavior, they take bodily functions in stride and I think feeding babies is pretty natural and common.
