While all kind of terrorists take over the media and mindshare of the world, Tibet is a quiet subject. Dalai Lama, who runs a non-violent struggle was age 70 this month in the process. Today, he is also ready to take a 'realistic' & practical approach to the problem with China.
India which has many tibetians living here, is going cool on the subject so that we get closer to China. I do not know what that means to Tibet people. We have a Tibetian town near my city. What has been Thailand's history/position with regard to Tibet - a buddhist place? I read somewhere that a tribe in Thailand has its origin from Tibet... |
