Hi Seeker, You're so humble. We're here to learn new things everyday. Its just a little something I can contribute to the site from my Chinese origins, in return for the Thai knowledge I gain from this brilliant site.

Thank you Joyce, it is very nice of you to say that... http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...cons/smile.gif You made me Chuen Jai. http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...ns/biggrin.gif
However, the only thing I can agree with you on, is that we are here to learn new things every day. And the best part is that we are having fun while learning! http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...ns/biggrin.gif |
Oh ok. I stand corrected. http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...cons/smile.gif
There is always something new to learn every day. http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...cons/smile.gif |
When is chinese's new year
Sorry, you missed it. It was Feb. 1 and 2.
There is always next year... http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...cons/smile.gif |
Hi, you haven't exactly missed it. Chinese celebrates Chinese New Year for 15 days from the 1st day to the 15th day of the lunar calendar. The 1st day of the lunar calendar happens to fall on 1st of Feb this year. Thus the last day of celebration will be on 15th of February. You may have missed the most important 1st & 2nd days but it is still fine to wish Happy New Year to all chinese till 15th of Feb!
