It is really unbelievable that politicians who are aspiring to be the legislators of Tamil Nadu one day should resort to such terrorist activities for whatever reason. One cannot imagine what kind rule will take place if they happen to come to power one day.
Rajpriya ================================================= CHENNAI: A group of MDMK cadres barged into Prasad Film Laboratories in Saligramam and damaged property ahead of a preview of an English film, Dam999, a disaster flick on a 100-year-old dam's collapse. Police arrested 23 MDMK cadres, including the party's state general secretary 'Mallai' Sathya and three women, for trespassing, rioting and criminal intimidation. Some Tamil outfits and political parties have objected to the screening of the film as they believe it is based on the Mullaperiyar dam issue, a bone of contention between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The film's director Sohan Roy said the movie is based on the true story of the Banqiao dam collapse, which killed 2.5 lakh people in China in 1975.
