In its ongoing probe into the 2G spectrum scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is set to attach properties worth Rs.200 crores of companies allegedly associated with telecom promoter Shahid Balwa and Kalaignar TV very soon.

The ED has asked representatives of private companies, who allegedly helped in transferring Rs.200 crores from Kusegaon Fruits & Vegetables Pvt Ltd and Cineyug Films to Kalaignar TV, to produce balance-sheets details of their respective companies before the agency officials on Thursday.

“After going through the balance-sheets of these companies on Thursday, the ED is expected to issue a formal order related to attachment of properties, worth Rs.200 crores, within a week,“ sources said.

Sources further claimed, “Even after repeated reminders by the ED officials, representatives of these companies did not submit detailed balancesheets to the agencies.“
