I haven't done it with Kendo, but it has become standard for wrestling. It does make a big difference.

Video can't lie!
Recently I got a video camera and it has been the best investment for my kendo. After a taping, watching (especially in slow-motion and with your teachers), doing keiko for a week and taping again vast improvements are noticed. Has anyone else tried this?
With video, reality is thrown right at you! If you have access to a video camera give it a go! It's a great teaching aid! Jonathan |
