Its a sad day for Aussies. Our charismatic, lovable, always-responsible crocodile-hunter, Steve Irwin, has died while filming a documentary on the Great Barrier Reef today after he was speared by a stingray barb through the chest.

The moron finally pissed off one animal too many. To get "attacked" by a stingray you have to really really piss it off. Ive always thought he was an irresponsible maniac.

The one sad thing about it is that while all of Australia now knows the details, his wife is trekking in Tasmania and wont know till she gets back to civilisation.
