If it doesn't give you an option to delete when you edit the thread (or if you can't since you have gone past the time limit), then a mod will have to delete it. And if he has an option, have him delete this one. The other one is more serious...

make sure you do a lot of reading about kendo and talk to high ranking sensei online and then you can tell the sensei and other kenshi at your new dojo what kendo really is and that their kendo is wrong.

Mister.levitra 07-08-2006 07:00 AM

but no really kumdo ( kendo ) is really really fun after the first class you'll want to go every day for the rest of your life or until desired...!... oh and try to learn some nihongo ( japanese) because i heard they use it alot

Ndptbudd 08-06-2006 07:00 AM

advice for begginers

hi um I kinda new to kendo and am curious about what it entails, I looked at serval websites however I didnt feel I got enough information, how strict are these disiplines?? also does this sport require alot of paitence ?? are there certain rules with not just combat but other things (obviously clothes, ect) in addtion would it be advicable to watch particpators before trying out for the sport?? sorry if these inquires seem rather obtuse but I am kinda abit in the dark with whats required of you (from what I seen atm it sounds very strict), and if ya can is there any other advice that advanced trainers could give thanks ^^

geniusxs81 08-27-2006 07:00 AM

Yes, but also depends on your sensei.

Yes, especially your bogu

I don't think so, you can practice by just wearing sweat pants and shirt.

Have fun
