It can be referred to as either Kumdo Dojang or Kumdojang. Our Sensei (Sabunim) prefers the later.
And then our Sabumnim calls his dojang "Sung Moo Kwan Kendo Academy".

Korean language question

Hi. Here is my question, is dojang used the same was that dojo would be. For example a dojo in los angeles would be Los Angeles Kendo Dojo. If koreans ran it would they call it Los Angeles Kumdo Dojang? If so would this work the same for a taekwondo or hapkido dojang. Los Angeles Hapkido Dojang. Does that sound strange? I ask because I have seen it written out in Korean like Los Angeles Hapkidojang rather than Hapkido Dojang. I dunno. I am not korean nor do I speak it. I am just curious.

I don't know about Korean, but it's perfectly acceptable to say 'kendojo' in Japanese. People don't say it outside of Japan because nobody would understand it. Presumably if you can say kendojo then you could also say 'kumdojang'.
