Very nice pictures Neil! I am NOT going to show these to my wife as she'll start hammering me to move north again!

Everything around here is brown and crunchy since it has been in the hundreds for a couple of months now, and we haven't had any rain in forever. Looks beautiful up there!

The pictures don't do it justice. It's incredibly harsh and beautiful looking country. It's also a good 5 hours from here so I don't get up there as often as I'd like.

Is that a zen thing Mike?
This is a good opportunity to throw down the gauntlet!

It appears that NYC Kendo is not able to beat Kenshin-kai in shiai so we have decided to give you the opportunity to tak us on in

bowling

You may consider this to be an official challenge. Loser buys the beer.

Mighty fine Beaver... Dam

Great pics Neil... absolutely stunning...!

I once went to Cadillac on business, and on the way there my colleague and I spent the night in the Big Beaver Marriott hotel on Big Beaver Drive in Detroit... where's the camera when you need it...!

That was the night that I had the pleasure of watching a Gent eating a 52 ounce steak (!) to win a challenge that allowed his whole family to eat free in the hotel steak restaurant... quite a spectacle...!

Hmmm beaver zen... What is the sound of one tail thwacking? I will not pelt you any fur-ther with beaver puns, though it strikes me that you are trying to bowl me over with trash talk. That's right up your alley. Please spare me.

Sounds like a great idea. Let's PM to work out details.

Osu!
