Hajimemashite!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was hoping that someone would be able to help...
I am looking for a Kendo club/ or dojo in the Wichita Kansas area. I would like to find one , or get some people together and start a new club for our city. Also, I am new to this forum and am having trouble locating anyone in my city. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,
AncientHorse

Have a look at E-budo...

http://www.e-budo.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=124

There is a dojo finder area there.

Hi Mr. Horse http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/silly.gif
We have no problem helping you find a dojo. But do us a favour and quit posting the same question again and again, it's annoying. Posting this once is enough.

Thank you.

Menierofe 10-06-2006 06:19 PM

Dear Sir, Thank you for your message. However I only posted the question twice, and no one had answered my question. Therefore I decided to post that again. If seeing the same question twice is something that would prompt you to write a disrespectful and insulting e-mail, then I would suggest that you should learn to deal with your impatience, and rudeness. Furthermore, you should refrain from telling others what to do, seeing as how you are only a member, and not someone who works for this forum professionally. If you need any other assistance on ettiquette, please feel free to send me a message.
Thank you for your time.

Wow, relax mr. Horse. I didn't write an insulting mail. I just wrote that asking the same question several times is annoying. Geezz.

Speaking about impatience, sometimes it takes a while before post is answered; so posting the question twice (or more) is obsolete. So don't talk to me about impatience.

Just because I'm only a member doesn't mean I'm not allowed to speak my mind. I find it annoying when people keep asking the same question because they don't have the patience to wait for an answer. I told you that to make sure you didn't keep asking the same question. I didn't want you turning into some troll.

Ahhhh... but you are the new member so you should be the respectful one. He wasn't impolite to you or insulting. You wrote more than two posts on the subject, you know. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif It does get annoying when people cross-post the same question more than they should. It clutters up the forums when you do that.

Etiquette lessons? You'll learn real fast in the dojo what those are, since you'll be taught it in short order if you talk that way to a sempai(Senior) or sensei(teacher). Just something to think about... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Anyway, please see my post in the Dojo forum here:

Dojo's in the Wichita, KS area?

I posted dojos for you. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Yes get of your high ancient horse, and don't tell us about impatience! And stop bugging Mr. T. he does Iaido you know and can easily virtually cut you to pieces if he wants. He won't because he 's a peaceful fellow. But he hates impatience! So quit bugging him before it's too late.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/eek.gif

hehehe, I think you quoted the wrong person... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif (Or is that, clicked on the wrong post to quote?) Anyway, I think Horse-san has been scolded enough. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

But Horse-san, he's right. You were the impatient one and in Kendo, you will learn how to have patience. Trust me, that's one of the first things you will learn, once you realise for example, you can't do a good men right off. You'll be figuring out for the rest of your life how to manage that, and that can be trying on one's patience. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif That's a wonderfully good thing.

I think he tried to quote Mr. T scolding horse, but the forum doesn't do embedded quotes. They can get silly...

The moment you took up an Iaito and started off the wrong track that's called Iaido.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/rolleyes.gif Why don't you join us barbarians in blue? Even people in the middle of nowhere want to practice Kendo. Join us on the straight and narrow path of Kendo before it's too late and you're swallowed by the light at the end of the tunnel. You might think that you're going to Heaven........but you're not.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo.../depressed.gif...............http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/tongue.gif

hehehe http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/laugh.gif I don't want to go to heaven just yet, I want to spend a few years in this world. I'll join the smurf brigade one day, but not just yet. I'm having way too much fun with Muay Thai and iai. I've decided to start with kendo when I reach sandan iai. This way I'll get the basics of iai a bit under control and I'll have some proper empty hand skills (and an awesome physical condition http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/tongue.gif ).

Is this what you people do? Arguing over the internet about inane things? You all should spend this time in practice, rather than wasting you time trying to be tough on the web.
