Saw an interview with Noboru Kataoka Sensei
 

Whilst drinking my morning coffee this morning, the fam and I were watching a local Japanese language show, and during the program called (strange) "The Human," the interview of the day was none other than Kataoka Sensei of The New York City Kendo club!
An excellent way to start the day! LOL

It was pretty damn cool not to mention impressive.

I had the pleasure of attending one of his seminars in Gainesville. He was awesome. Especially the kata. His posture was incredible. When he took kamae, he would make this grunt that would make you run for your life. His jodan was scary. During that seminar I got to watch him and Maeda sensei in jikeiko. That was awesome. The match ended with a katate tsuki from MAeda sensei.

Oh yeah he said some lines from Letters From Iwo Jima.
