Found a link to what looks to be a pretty good move from the badastronomy.com website.

I vote for a Godzilla remake.
The party is a send-off for a trip to Japan.
Note the lady in the teaser said "Good luck in Japan?"

If it is a remake, it's the one that they should have done, and not that awful giant Iguana thing.
