Two Vs. one

I know ill get flamed for this, but here is goes. Are there rules for two on one matches? I was just wondering becuase I have seen a few of the old guy who are REALY fast and in my opinion could take on two guys no problem. Im sure everyonce and awhile some sensei somewhere does this just for fun.

We do multiple against for practice before.... it's the most tiring thing ever!

No official rules. Way fun to do with kids, and a great demo.

We often do it to people who have just passed a grading, it's a great way of finishing a training session.

Probably the most tiring nights of your career too http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/tired.gif

My old TKD school had a grading requirement called the "hornet's nest" -- four on one, or more, for 15-20 minutes.

Does team melee (two or more on two or more) ever happen, or would there be safety issues?

Only for fun. One way to do it is to have a balloon war, where everyone wears a small balloon on the top of the men. You designate one person as your king (usually a kid), and then have at it. Individuals are out if the balloon is popped, team is out when the king's balloon is popped.

So much fun! We didn't have a king but we made a rule that you can only go after someone when you're facing each other. Our only problem was that we had a hard time getting the balloons to stay put and they were too big.

I found some balloons at our local dollar store that were labelled as water bomb balloons that worked great. The normal party balloons are too big when blown all the way up and don't pop if underinflated.

I did it but only for fun
