I'm new to the forum, and very new to Kendo as well. I'm very excited about finally starting and hope to receive plenty of advice from you experienced kenshi

Looks like I'm one of the very few women on this forum (and in Kendo in general), I'm from Russia (although I live in Charlotte, NC right now) so my english is not always the best lol, and I am also a major health freak!
