For people experiencing suffering: You have questions, I have answers

Okay, I'm truly sorry for all of the threads I've been posting lately, but I just got back and I am interested in going into psychology, but I have no test subjects.

Anyone who is suffering right now, say what it is in plain and undistorted English text and I will try to help you. By the way, if it's too much of a pain for moderators to delete my posts, please temporarily assign administrative privileges to me so I can do it myself and save your precious time. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Okay, ask away. I will help you realize that suffering is self-created.

wizardasa 05-03-2008 04:54 AM

Because of your threads, I`m suffering right now.

gabbaman 05-03-2008 04:56 AM

Yeah I have a problem, I'm an idiot who carries around a shinken and uses it to cut coral/trees/rocks. I also seem to suffer dilusions of grandure and have some anger management problems insulting anyone and threatening to 'eat steel'. However rather than seek help I instead post on a forum where instead of finding like minded psychopaths I just get insulted.

"Physician, heal thyself."

Sorry, replace "anyone" with medication-wielding doctor. That was a typo, I haven't slept in 24 hours.

R.D Laing claimed that "a psychiatrist who professes to be a healer of souls but who keeps people asleep, treats them for waking up, and drugs them to sleep again, helps to drive them crazy."

I was angry that my cut was jagged on a tree (a twig-sized branch) and when I cut it a second time, I hit the rock underneath it.

The coral I don't know why I did that. Please forgive me and remove my negative rep now lol I just made some typos

4 minutes between posts. A good sleep will do good.

Hixinfineedom 05-03-2008 05:08 AM

Doesnt sound like you are repentant at all. perhaps you should take a break from the internet and other stuff that are agitating you?

I should think that the first ever negative rep that I have ever seen on this forum is telling you something?http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/confused.gif

You NEED to get some sleep. There is something not quite right here and you do need to speak to someone about it. Now please just turn off your computer, go lie down and get some rest. You find you'll get confused by things if your not rested and my friend I can tell you that your not. So, no posts man, just SLEEP.

rockboyzaza 05-03-2008 06:14 AM

Everyone please stop responding to him so hopefully he gets it and gets some rest.

Andromino 05-03-2008 07:11 AM

A psychiatrist is a physician who specializes in psychiatry and is certified in treating mental disorders

A psychiatrist is a physician who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, addictive, and emotional disorders, such as the following:

* Anxiety
* Depression
* Developmental disabilities
* Psychosis
* Substance abuse
* Sexual dysfunction

Educational requirements

A psychiatrist must have an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy (or international equivalent) and must complete at least 4 years of accredited residency training, including a minimum of 3 years in psychiatry.

Examination requirements
Psychiatrists must pass a daylong written examination that covers the basic sciences, the clinical science of psychiatry, and psychiatric subspecialties. They must also pass an oral examination that assesses clinical skills through the observation of an actual patient history and examination.

Board certification
After completing educational and examination requirements, psychiatrists may seek certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Board certified psychiatrists have achieved the highest level of education and training possible in the field of psychiatry.

Psychiatrists seeking board certification must have an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, must maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct, and must meet standards set by the ABPN. They also must pass both a written and oral exam administered by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Psychiatrists must be re-certified every 10 years.

Which is exactly whom this fellow needs to see.
