Bad budo section?
 

Any chance of a Bad Budo section??? There has been some proper garbage on the iai forum that needs collecting up, and leaving that area full of 'proper' relevant decent iai, not the Mcdojo stuff.

Why not just stick it in the "flames" section?

As decent people and as kendoka, should we really be spending so much time or getting so much enjoyment out of trashing other peoples' schools? Yes, it's good to make others aware that some schools are dangerous, but at the same time, there seems to be a lot of enjoyment and time spent on just flaming them.

There are just a lot of things that need “collecting up” period. I don’t know if a whole new section is warranted. The Flames section collects enough garbage as it is. Adding a Bad Budo section would probably invite even more ‘Hey check out this loser on youtube’ threads.
Adding few new moderators might be better I think. Said moderator(s) could be assigned to a certain section making it easier to make sure the scum is skimmed and the kiddies play nice.

Yeah Tim would be a good choice. E-budo already has a section for that. Think the flames works well enough. Mainly just need to collect and move stuff ie a couple more moderaters. Anyways my 2 yens worth.

A lot of the videos just belong in the lounge section.. Fair enough, have a quick look then move them on if the original poster is unsure, however I consider that people who get spotted as absolute ripoff artists should be highlighted as "Best Avoided" for the guys who come on here at random and don't really know a lot... ie the guys who would like to be genuine but get taken in by the con artist. These are the ones I feel sorry for, the 'ninjer types' deserve what they get and would go looking for an idiot despite our best intentions.

If you spot something that needs moving, report it and I'll move it.
