Nah mate nothing too brutal. You can understand his reasoning thou, he already has achieved so much at South I think he feels a change will help him love the game again. Sharrod Wellingham quit Perth because he didn't feel strongly for footy anymore. He played footy with his mates then came back to the WAFL and now he is a premiership player for Collingwood. Same with Aaron Zucconi he took a year off from WAFL last year, and now he's playing great footy for the Demons. Maybe this change will be good for Hamsy.

As long as the change wont be good for him this week...it wasnt so much the question of him needing a change, it was the way he went about it that reeks of manure...a bit of "open honesty" with South wouldnt have gone astray...

Nah fair point SFFC4ever, open honesty is what South Fremantle deserve and the way he did it might seem sneaky but he left South because he said things were "stale." Even if South matched Swans big paycheque, do you think he would still be at the club?

I have it on good authority that the answer would be yes...but we don’t need players like that at SFFC who are solely it seems, playing for $$$...pride in playing for the jumper should be 1st... Hams obviously won’t be doing that at Swans, he'll be playing for the coin alone...

Indeed, but he’ll cop it from some of his former team mates as well…there is a few who aren’t too happy about the way he went about things…& rightly so, but as you say, he'll just have to live with it...
We'll just have to wait and see until this weekend, should be a great game. No doubt Hamsy will cop a bit from the South supporters but I guess he'll have to live with that. |

Him and his brother have always come across as little shitheads. Can''t stand the way they duck into tackles to get free kicks, or when they throw their heads back when tackled from behind to get a free. Jamie Graham's appointment as captain this year has resulted in a greatly improved morale throught the playing group. (An unassuming bloke with the heart of a lion) He deservedly has the resect of all who play with him. He is raising standards within the club.......I think without Ash, Kyle beeen found wanting. I say good to luck Kyle....if SD are prepared to overpay for players then they will inturn pay the price for the disharmony that will be created within their playing group. He won't be protected and will have to produce results....I would put money down that he only got a one year deal....and will probably play for Busso next year. |
