Default Sunday times & dogs.
I give credit where its due in regards to the media and publicity for WAFL football.

But it is nothing short of disgraceful AGAIN, see what I saw in the Sunday Times yesterday.

They had a story on the Good Friday game and guess which teams they had playing ?

CLAREMONT TIGERS v EAST PERTH ROYALS !!

This was in colour and it also had the Claremont Tigers Logo on there for all to see... Of course Claremont are not even playing in the game it is the bloody SUBIACO LIONS YOU MORONS !! Last year was no different when they had East Perth down as Peel Thunder in a game against Souths, on the main scorboard page from the previous days match. You can bet they wouldnt make such a monumental mistake with anything Eagles or Dockers.

It is just blatant mediorcrity and contempt for WAFL footy again and basically proves there is little or no proof checking by anyone down there at a so-called proffessional newspaper. It was as bad a cock-up as I have seen for a while.

Anyway on the Good Friday game lets hope Subi change the "BRING YOU DOG TO THE FOOTY" day with perhaps a "BRING A HUMAN TO THE FOOTY" day.... Its about time a real focus was put into getting people to bring other PEOPLE to the football instead of your bloody pets. That didnt work a treat on Saturday and we need to get more humans into the football, not dogs.... I understand its a different initiative and all that, but when Broadhurst runs into an open goal and slams home a major, all you see on the TV in the background is a German Shepherd tounging his balls and a stray poodle crunching on a discarded bag of Samboys.... Trying to lift the battered image of the WAFL is hard enough these days without having this stuff to deal with.

If the WAFL have a "BRING YOUR CAT TO THE FOOTY" day, Im gonna chuck it in completely I tell you.
