Default Semi finals 2011
Who plans on going to one of the games this week? Good thinking by the WAFL to have the games on Sunday I reckon. If the weather is good then we should see some good crowds. I'm tipping 2 close games aswell.

I honestly couldnt give a stuff who wins any of these games.

Maybe Claremont & Subiaco. Normally we have more of an idea, but I cant separate any of them. Should be a competitive and tight finals series.

Wish they would just go back to the old system we had with the 1st-Semi one weekend, the the 2nd-Semi the next. The finals series should be over 4 weeks and give footy purists the chance to see both finals like we used too.

Maybe 5,000 will go to Claremont, and possibly the same or maybe just less at Leederville.

Just read the tips in the West thismorning.

Get on West Perth.... Everyone has tipped Claremont.

And maybe get on Souths, everyone tipped Subi except Peter Spencer.

both will be close i reckon...cant believe how one sided the tipsters where in todays paper...???

SF by 7 points - right down to the wire this, hard to seperate, been in great form Subi...will be hard to stop...

CL by 11 points - clearly the stronger side on papaer, but that means little at the best if times, let alone a final...again, another tight contest...

peter spencer is an astute judge - but i am tipping the lions. think south were softened nicely by the sharks last week, so they will be a bit flat. good effort last week to get within 6 goals of this juggernaut. but souths can book their end of season trip for the following weekend - i hear bali is nice this time of year.
think tigers will win the other final. this means west perth will probably win quite easily. but i am sticking with tigers - gunna put the rent money on a subi/tigers double and spend the winnings in amsterdam.

peter spencer??? EF hardly softened us up sun ra...very limp wristed & weak effort by EF last week...could go against us as we could have done with a harder, more finals like hit-out...

you'll excuse me if I pay no attention 2 ur prediction...I seem to recall a similar one last week...just keep writing us off, it seems to work the other way

EF played like dogshit last week SF ran a lot harder and looked a lot more determined. I think they're more talented than Subi so I give them a real chance because class usually wins out in finals.

Subi's defence I reckon will be the key.......they have hardly given up any points in their mid to late season surge.......SF aren't going under anyones radar SFFC4ever.......just all reverse psychology from you mate........interesting comments from Miller in the paper......I reckon he should of kept his mouth shut.......you can be assured now SF runners will look slow now and all his better skills talk from SF will go to pot!!! SF by 87 points just to keep SFFC4ever in my good books

CL look too good for WP.......Jones and Wilkes will stretch WP defence.......only one team could really match CL this year and probably only one team could of stopped them from winning the flag....I won't say who but SFFC4ever knows!

EF reserves to win.......hopefully those AFL listed boys don't play.....they are listed in the budget to play though.

CL reserves to win

Subi colts to beat Peel

CL colts to upset SF.......

DD, very pleased the AFL boys aren't playing for EF reserves as a warm up.....would of made a mockery of the whole thing!

Claremont played well but mainly WP played like absolute dogshit.

The umpiring was an absolute disgrace. Claremont were getting kissed on the dick all day by the orange maggots. WP couldn't buy a free kick.

Just have to put in a better performance this week.

So where is the prelim going to be played? Do WP get home ground advantage finishing second?

A strange coincidence in the margins in the 2 semi finals. Both were 85 point maulings with Subi and South scoring 11 points more than Claremont and WP did. Unusual to see both semi's with such big margins in a season that was so even across the whole competition.
