I used to feel strong emotions at sights of injustice, specially coming from a country where there was a bloody civil war ravaging and constantly being reminded of this ever since I was born, seeing and hearing stories of strangers and friends affected by violence and feeling disgusted when learning how the violence came to be. Then top that off with everyday domestic "calamities" and heart break.

It really brings down the spirit.

BUT an understanding of karma, and how when people react to cause harm, understanding how their actions may have come to be, and how it is not their fault, helps me forgive and let go.

May I recommend metta meditation when it comes to this sort of feeling, it really does work.

Stay happy. http://www.buddhismwithoutboundaries...ilies/grin.gif
