Hiri Sutta: On Friendship

One that, overstepping and despising a feeling of disgrace, says, 'I'm your friend,' but doesn't simply take upon herself any duties he's capable of accomplishing, will be named no friend. One that talks amiably to his friends, but whose activities don't comply with it, him the wise know for several as a not a doer. He's no friend who, expecting struggle, is definitely alert in taking care of flaws. But he on whom one may depend, such as for instance a son or daughter sleeping on its mother's breast, is really a buddy who can't be separated from one by the others. "One who holds the individual load of obligation, with it fruits and benefits in your mind, he cultivates an underlying cause of pleasure and pleasure worth reward. Having felt the taste of peace and isolation one is free from fear and wrong-doings drinking the rapture of Dhamma." Hiri Sutta: On Friendship http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/hands.gif
