So is anyone staying up for this at all? Looking forward to the release of the new iphone?
There is certainly a lot of hype associated around these events and Apple certainly know how to market themselves, they have closed all Online stores and the internet community is going crazy. Lets just hope the announcement is worth all the hype that is being generated! |

You talking about the 3G capable iPhone?
I hear it will be available on the Telstra NextG network in September some time... Also, I noticed that in the following report: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=577271 they will be opening 'the southern hemispheres very first apple store' in Sydney... Is there not already one of these in Glebe? As soon as it comes out or is available for me to import on the 3G network.... i'm getting one!!! **I must also note, that lovers of the apple iPhone, might want to hold on to their wallets and consider the LG Viewty (better camera, yet possibly not as cool) and the Samsung Ultra Smart F700 (looks good, also has full QWERT keyboard..... not sure of release date etc). I think it's a great step for apple!!!
An article I read today showed stats that Blackberry devices in the US have a 40% + share of the business market for wireless devices. The apple iPhone was about 16%.... Apple have realised their need to play ball in order to capture this massive market share they are currently missing out on. I think they will also keep some current customers happy with their updates. Some people who may of bought the iPhone expectinga little more and now it's arrived! Overall Thumbs up from me! |
