Coolest Driver: KAMUI KOBAYASHI
The man is pure entertainment

Rookie of the Year: KAMUI KOBAYASHI
Is he worthy of a place in F1 after this season?, HECK YEAH!

Overtaker of the Year: KAMUI KOBAYASHI
See the first category

Best New Team: LOTUS
Lotus would get it for prettiest car of the year too, any racing car looks 10 times better in British Racing Green.

Best Dressed: RICHARD BRANSON
I have to agree, he's gonna look so daft in that stewardess's uniform, anything for charity though

Most Like to Have a Drink With: KARUN CHANDHOK
From what i've seen of him, a genuinely nice and approchable man, hope we see him on the grid in 2011

WAG of the Year: JESSICA MICHIBATA
Jenson's lass, and a canny bit of strumpet she is too

Best Race of the Year: CANADA
How fitting the best and most entertaining race of the season came on the very track the fans wanted to see back most of all

Most Like to See a New Race: FRANCE
Its simply a nation that because of its racing heritage, does not deserve to be left out of the party, if given the chance, i'd love it for F1 to return to Paul Ricard one day.

Coolest Driver - Rubens. If he was anymore laidback he wouldn't be able to see where he was going.

Rookie of the Year - Kobayshi, although none of them really stood out. I was however tempted to give this to Chandhok for hopping in a car that hadn't turned a wheel and attempting quali in Bahrain.

Overtaker of the Year - Lewis

Best New Team - Lotus performed the best, but I like Virgins approach of trying to use CFD only to design the car.

Best Dressed - Its got to be EJ. No ones else provided that much entertainment simply with their choice of trousers this year.

Most Like to Have a Drink With -

WAG of the Year -

Best Race of the Year - Spa

Most Like to See a New Race - Where the crowd actually turns up and is interested.

Coolest Driver must be Sakon Yamamoto.

He's rubbish and yet year after year people still want him at the party.

Well him and his £££££.

This is also the same poll where the results listed abu dhabi as the best race and the 'most like to see a new race' went to 1.London 2.New York 3.Paris. Total cliche and keeping the sponsors happy.

So yes, these polls are definatly fixed in the interest of sponsors and associates.

Coolest Driver?
How could any of us know when all we see of them is when they have a camera, and mic shoved into their face?
The only other info is either a BS Driver's personal web page, and what the tabloid media presents to us.
But just for fun I'll say "The Boss" since he hangs in So. Cal. now and again!

Tilke first sent a representative of his company to Austin around two years ago, and has made personal many visits since. He is currently looking for office space in the city in which to base the project.

Hellmund is adamant that Austin is an ideal location.

Old news bro
Dallas-based Austin Commercial was recently selected as the general contractor for the project, which will cost $250 million according to the most recent estimate from the race organizers. Another prominent Dallas-based firm, HKS Architects , will design the grandstands and fan amenities for a site that will accommodate more than 120,000 fans
Not long after the stunning announcement in May that Austin had landed a Formula One race, organizers said they hoped to begin moving dirt by December in order to complete construction in time for the inaugural U.S. Grand Prix race in 2012. Then months slipped by without much happening on the site.

Until this week, that is, when groundbreaking finally got under way on the 970-acre tract southeast of Austin. http://www.statesman.com/news/local/...y-1154979.html.....
