Whenever a song is born out of the creative input of so many people, it makes me think of Frankenstein. And while Madonna probably created very little of the song (at least when compared to artists that make music almost completely by themselves), she did approve of it. Maybe GGW will get an interesting remix...

Wow so this will be the first album since True Blue to have two singles out before the album is released.
This has to be a case where Madonna was just so pissed that the song leaked so early but that they were obligated to release it anyway and now she just wants to move on. |

Yeah, i'm thinking that maybe this is just a rumor. I mean, I believe the music video was already shot..? Might as well just release it when it's ready. A lyrics only video is a lame idea, very amateur. Oh well, I am looking forward to hearing the song.

Judging from the clip, it sounds like it wouldn't be too bad, albeit a bit generic, as an album track. It doesn't sound nearly strong enough to be a single though, and the similarities to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" lyrically make Madonna look lame.
I can still hold out hope for some decent lyrics in the verses and an awesome bridge/break-down but I'm not counting on it. |

Is that the album version though? Isn't that from the Megamix thing which has been remixed. It sounds too club for her album. Usually on her albums her songs are more pop. I like her vocals and the melody, but I hate the production. Hopefully, the album version will be better.

I guess I said this somewhere before but to me GGW sounds like somewhat a rehash of the Benny Benassi remix of Celebration. The melody is ok but the production is quite generic.

Yeah it's safe and unmemorable and will probably flop. I just hope the video's good. "Turn Up the Radio" sounds more interesting, in my opinion.

"GIRLS GONE WILD" - Second Single from MDNA
Madonna confirmed in her radio interview with Ryan Seacrest that "Girl Gone Wild" is the second single from MDNA and that the video will be shot in the next two weeks. She also confirmed that Britney Spears is NOT a featured artist on the track.
