A wind up? Twitter and Facebook have exploded this morning with what could very well be a leak about a new film project being directed by Kate. According to tweets from several actors involved in a project filming in London, a film to accompany a new version of Running up that Hill is under way, including an appearance by the actor Jude Law. We have no official details of this exciting news, and we should remember that Kate herself may not be too happy that this has leaked. One interesting theory flying around the social networks is that this may have something to do with the upcoming London Olympics…we await further updates. SIMULTANEOUS REACTIONS a new version of Running up that Hill but, a new version of Running up that Hill Mod edit: 12 August 2012: Running Up That Hill (2012 Remix), featuring newly-recorded vocals, was indeed featured during the Olympics closing ceremony. Kate did not appear on stage or in video though multiple rumors from multiple sources hinted that she may perform. The song was played over a video montage of the Olympic games while a pyramid was constructed on stage. The new version of Running Up That Hill has now been released as a single and can be purchased through various outlets including iTunes. For more info, please see this news item on Kate's website.
