Default Kate on eBay
Like the thread over at @, this is meant to be a thread for pointing and oohing and ahhing at the Kate stuff that pops up on eBay, not to spam the forum with our own sales. But if one of you wants to get this for me, please go right ahead and do it.

KATE BUSH. 1980 SIGNED LETTER & LP! WILL GO NO LOWER!

Ooh that's lovely! And sad that he's selling it. That glimpse of the inside artwork is gorgeous, never seen that before.

I think the stationery is adorable. By my calculations, she had just outgrown unicorns.

"I'M SO GLAD YOU WON'T ONE DAY SELL THIS ON THE INTERNET ME DEARIE x x x x x x x". Geoff, you bastard!

That's almost as distressing as when Tori failed to sell her Saab convertible but did shift BFP's mixing desk after ADP tanked defied the industry's preconceived notions of success (did anyone cache those ebay pages?).

Unusual formats always give me a frisson - Kate cassette "cassingle" singles and mini discs ahoy - it's like a glimpse of a steampunk alternative timeline.

Actually I've never seen the cover art used for the top-right Love and Anger cassette there, does anyone recognise that version? "How about a black & white close up of your slightly-whited-out face for this single Kate?" "Nice! Different! Unusual!"

^ I had NO idea about Saab and mixing desk selling!

I like to periodically look up Kate listings on eBay. Some nice singles to be found. eBay UK currently has a "Babooshka mug," if you fancy drinking out of that (so to speak)

Yes! It was exactly the sort of thing that would get made up on here but it really was true.
The BFP desk and a few other pre-digital tech things were openly listed as "used by Tori Amos", the green (or was it yellow?) Saab convertible was being sold on behalf of a female parent ("baby seat fittings available") somewhere outside the town of Bude in North Cornwall. There reeeeeally can't be many.

Meanwhile, I'll be muching some cockles from Molly Malone's Sensual World-inspiring fishwagon at Kate's neighbours Fanny on the Hill

Interesting! Tori Amos fans have hawk eyes. I wonder what became of the Saab? Maybe she realised that she simply had to keep it. After all, she started writing Jamaica Inn in it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-Handwritten...item35aa9e97f6

And here ^ we have a "Rare, Handwritten Kate Bush Lyrics Sheet:"

These are the lyrics to Kate Bush's "Deeper Understanding" from the album, "The Sensual World." The lyrics are hand written in black ink on two pages of note paper-and signed " Love from Kate." The lyrics are framed and matted in archival acid free materials. This is a rare opputnity to own a piece of rock and roll history from one of the most beloved performers of our time. Blurry pictures, but the handwriting looks right. I can't tell if it's legit or not.

Ooof, that letter is so personal. If I were Kate, I'd probably be be a bit pissed off at the fellow who originally sold it.

This isn't on eBay but there's a site selling an amazing Kate t-shirt in a lot of colours with the logo below on it.

You can check it out here.

I remember when that was first published, in the dying days of the KBC. It cost £15 or so, as I recall. That was a lot of money in the late eighties, so I didn't get one. Been kicking myself ever since.
