I don't think I've ever posted this here but I was reminded of it yesterday and thought it might be a nice little thing to post

I was talking to one of my contacts at EMI a couple of years ago. We were talking about Kate, and he told me that when the Aerial project was done, one of his Dutch bosses got a phone call from a woman who said "Hi, this is Kate Bush, I just want to thank you for everything you did for my album Aerial" etc... He's a pretty big Kate fan himself, and thought someone was playing a prank on him, so he just kind of said 'yeah right' and hung up.

A couple of days later, his own boss in the London office called him and said "So, how did you like talking to Kate??"

Turns out, Kate had requested a list of contact details for the people at the international offices if EMI who headed the Aerial project in their specific territory, so she could call them up and thank them.
