The 10 or so casinos in Santo Domingo appear to deal honest games. I have not been for a few years but had no problem winning there.

Barcelo Premium hotel Punta Cana (casino)- diller take second card.
My experience on July 2012 at this hotel based on 1 night at the casino. Very small casino but it wasn't crowded, S17, 3:2, no table games during the day, 2-3 BJ tables, minimum $5 to $100 max, Shufflemaster machine (CSM), dealer told me it was 6 decks. Cards were worn out but I don't think there were any shortage of 10s.

I started playing the minimum while I was getting a feel for the game, few dealer errors but supervisor on third base always caught them so be careful. A couple of slow dealers at first, dealt about 1 deck before putting the cards back in the machine (uncountable game). I was actually up just playing basic strategy until this drunk guy came over. Guy was obnoxious and wanted to play over $100 hands so he had to spread, guy actually started winning and supervisor got a new dealer. This new dealer was very fast, made no mistakes, and yes was "second dealing".

I stopped playing when I lost my profits and was 1/4 down of my money. I started to pay attention to what this dealer was doing and I noticed the discard table grew a little taller than I had seen before. There was some rounds when a lot small cards started coming out and this time the dealer was selective when picking the cards from the discard table. There were times when she picked from the middle of the pack or the top but never the whole pile like they were doing before. This is when I got up, cashed my chips and never set foot again inside the casino. My advice, enjoy the beach, the free drinks and stay away from the casino...

I have heard other some players complain about cheating in Dominican Republic and other players that say they found no cheating. Two questions:

1) Can you explain how you detected the dealers taking the second card (dealing seconds) at "Riu Palace Macao"?

2) Did you find any rebate-loss offers at any casinos in Dominican Republic?
