Default Counting Down From 15
SANTO DOMINGO
A new traffic law is supposed to put an end to the chaos on Dominican roads and streets.
AMET police is to be done away with and insurance companies will have to pay for damages to public properties.
Traffic fines will be collected relentlessly.

The "Ley de Movilidad, Transporte Terrestre, Seguridad Vial y Tránsito de la República Dominicana" also is to give 15 points to a holder of a driver's licence, which is then counted down*) with his/her infractions....

Periódico 7 Días - Nueva Ley de Tránsito*corregirá caos y distorsiones

*)
What will happen once someone has - (minus) 345 points????

It's an "antipresupuesto", which means it's being talked about in a sub-committee, and proposed by a diputado and a
transit union. One can imagine. They won't get rid of AMET. And 7 Dias is not such a reliable source anyway.
And what do diputados do here?
