Why would anyone ever leave? We've got traffic, ******* drivers, and iridescent humidity. |
Yellowstone and Grandcayon are pretty good, I caught them going eat though, not west.
You didn't make it to the coast... JM |
Sounds like an awesome trip. http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif

oh and I will excuse you not stopping at the greatest tourist attraction in the southwest this one time. But only once.
hint: it's in my location field. |
I did the observation point trail in Zion NP last year. It's a little tough, but nothing too major. You basically hike from the bottom to the top.
*crosses fingers hoping they allow hotlinks http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif * view from observation point http://www.citrusmilo.com/zion2006/j...obspoint01.jpg gonna due the angels landing hike in Zion this October weather permitting. It's one of the most popular hikes in the western U.S. (perhaps the most popular along with halfdome) Angels landing hike: http://www.citrusmilo.com/zion2005/joebraun_angel1.jpg I generally don't like hikes with a lot of exposure (big drop offs) that you can see in the above pic. But I think the chains will make me feel more comfortable. I've scaled some pretty intense cliffs, but none of them had falls over 20 or so feet. You could survive it if you fell, unlike these http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif view from top http://www.citrusmilo.com/zion2007/j...n_angels13.jpg |
I was thinking something similar. That is a long ass trip, especially for lots and lots of driving.
What'd you do on the road? Did you have satellite radio? Long times on the road are always a *****. If you survived that, you are ready for marriage. I never had anything fancy like satellite radio. I usually bring lots of cd's. But if I have someone in the car with me, I have to listen to music other people actually enjoy. Sometimes I surf the radio stations trying to fine that elusive radio station that is the be all end all of radio stations and plays nothing but good songs. But generally I only find hick or mexican radio stations. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/frown.gif |
15 years ago che and I (& co) drove past the Corn Palace. We didn't stop.

Well, thank you for stopping. Now I will never have to. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif
