The only problem is that by turning the objects into "art" they will likely be expecting "work of art" prices for them, meaning that the rich "home beautiful" people will have them and everybody else....

Will probably soldier on with what we have now.

Don't forget the wonderful OLED keyboard that everyone would love to have, but almost nobody would love to pay for......

I prefer my invisible router, stuffed in the back closet where no one can see compared to that crap.

Oh give me a break. How much did they pay them to come up with those ideas?

Nobody cares what their router looks like as long as they work. they either hide it or sit it on their tower/desk. My router is in the next room, I have had it for a year now and do you know what is surprising? I couldn't even describe it to you. All I know is it is rectangular and black. I pay that little attention to the thing.

Why in the name of sweet chocolaty Jesus do I want to turn it into a yellow table or a freaking jellyfish?!

I just want my router to do two simple tasks.

1) Connect me to the internet.
2) Keep me connected the the internet.

But even that is too much to ask for sometimes. Maybe they should spend money trying to fix basic problems first before trying to make your workstation look cutting edge and and on the pulse of modern culture.

What are you on aboot? If it's not a rack chassis w/ redundant power, dual sups, several various WAN cards and a variety of LAN connectivity.... it's NOT a router

Its the British way of pronouncing Router - its a different culture, deal with it
Just like Aluminum for America and Aluminium for pretty much the rest of the world [yes]
