HELLO,

I have a STRAT I purchased in a box that said LEARN TO PLAY GUTTAR AND it came with a very very tiny AMPLIFIER but a huge huge power cord. I have learned to play the opening notes of the Pledge of Allegiance and am now moving on to Jimi Hendrix's entire catalogue. Needless to say this jump has given be self confidence and has also ruined my guitar and my fingers. I need help tuning it, please advise. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/mad.gif

Have you tried Guitar Pro?

I recommend this software for any guitar player.

I also learn song on Standard tuning(classical) but also on 1/2 step down. (Metallica & Slayer).

Presently learning Fugue BWV 578 (Teh Little) on a classical guitar. I'm playing around 1hours/2hours a day.

Really, but really fun to play! I can't play it at full speed, and I don't know the full composition(yet); but I'm learning really fast.

I didn't found anyone who played it on a classical guitar, so here is the distortion version.

And the original version on orgue

I've had and played an acoustic guitar for 5 years now (Simon & Patrick Luthier, from Quebec of all places) that sounds fantastic.

Prior to that I had an electric Ibanez JS2000 but that's in my basement back in Calgary. I only brought the acoustic out with me since I vastly prefer that. The tone is fantastic.

I am just now taking up guitar. Got an acoustic junker from a cousin who was not using it.

So I went out and bought a couple sets of 11 guage strings. Stringed and tuned it up, and have been practicing daily.

I am an organist and pianist by trade, so theory is not a problem. But I can't wait to get an electric with a distortation/effects box
