Default Cool Art Exhibit
This is the crowning piece from the current major exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston through November 9th. I'm going on Friday and I am SO excited.

It's art nouveau jewelry (pre-art deco, Lalique, etc.) from the late 1800's I think, and the image in the link below has been their big piece for marketing purposes. It's a Paph. Sweet!

If anyone happens to be in the area, not only should you let me know, you should go see the exhibit!

Please also see Chen Rong's Nine Dragon Scroll from the 13th century and tell us all just how awesome it is in person...that is the number one reason I want to visit this museum.

I'll see what I can do. I have to say, I've been there a 100 times and don't think I've seen that!

the Lalique company had and still have great creators. Personally, I esp. like the Daum and, about all, Gallé creations of the 'school of Nancy'. But I thing you will have a nice show!!! Jean

Nice Paph pin. That would be a jewelry dream come true. Can you imagine how many hours involved in creating that.

It was a FABULOUS exhibit. I don't remember the last time I spent that much time in one exhibit room. AMAZING. Mom bought the book, I bought a poster. It was really well done.
