Wright praised Louis Farrakhan, defended the view that Zionism is racism, accused the United States of terrorism, repeated his view that the government created the AIDS virus to cause the genocide of racial minorities, stood by other past remarks ("God damn America") and held himself out as a spokesman for the black church in America.
It's impressive how thoroughly he can damn himself. |

Uh, what? Every politician that has gone to Bob Jones has been roasted on a spit by the media. Your memory is flawed. Baloney. You show me where any one of them got the Howard Dean scream treatment. That's right, they didn't. Wright was the subject of an electronic lynching in which his most inflammatory remarks were taken out of context and repeated ad nauseam. And Hillary is a poor example, since the one thing that Americans hate more than an assertive black guy is an assertive woman. Anyone who dares to approach the basic truth about race in the US ends up getting shafted. |

At least from what I've heard on conservative radio, a lot of conservatives are frustrated with Obama because they feel that their hands are being tied on racial talk. This is no problem with Hillary. They makes tons a sexist remarks about her, but they're mad that they can't make racist remarks about Obama. It seems every time I come across one of their radio shows, the host is lamenting that he can't talk about Obama being black. Which hosts would those be? Limbaugh? Hannity? I could definitely see Savage saying that. |

I haven't heard of Graham, but Savage....he's ugh. nutcase. very disturbing stuff I've heard from him. Oh god. I remember Savage going on about how people who got infected with HIV deserved it because "they knew the risks." I think his solution to healthcare was to simply do away with it. |

Oh, and when Obama's sainthood is being challenged, it's because of press bias. When they fawn all over him; well, that's just the right thing to do. |

I don't think he's talking about "influence". I think Wright is saying important voice in that he agrees with it and its a right voice. I dont have to agree with Farrakhan to acknowledge his importance. Obviously they agree on some things and disagree on others, and Wright appears to approve of Farrakhan's over all "influence". So, whats yer point?
