Default just a few photo's from a quick motorcycle ride today.
Just thought I would post a few pics of the ride today. We went up Hwy 11 in SC to hwy 178 and up 215 near the blueridge parkway. The weather was beutiful but it was quite cold up near the parkway. There appeared to be fresh snow on the mountains at the top.

Yes, why not?
I had 24 lessons for my car license..and the majority of those lessons were for road experience / situation experience etc..
Now for motorcycle i can skip that because i already have the experience of being in the traffic..so all i need is to learn is controlling the bike etc.

Well yeah, but still you'll have to have at least a few lessons for riding the bike in traffic. It's not the same as riding cars. 10's not impossible though, just on the low end I think.

I had just 2 lessons and passed first time ... admittedly, I rode my bike on a learner licence for 12 months in between those two lessons before taking the test. Mind you, I needed around 30 lessons to be anywhere near ready for a car licence; I kept on thinking I was on a bike and constantly aimed for gaps that weren't really car-sized...

^.^

There's no learner license in the Netherlands for bikes and cars - pass the tests first, then you get to drive freely.

Yep, sucks. Mind you i did my bike test in the snow! scared the crap out of me and the guy doing the test wasnt too sure if it was too bad to go out but it probably made me ride a bit better than usual [rofl]

Edit:

To the OP, that looks like a great bit of road for biking [thumbup]

The state governments stepped in. At least they did in my state.

Those days took a fall and had to scrape their skin off the road.

Not at all, unless by "*****" you mean people who don't like to break the law.

In California a helmet is a requirement. Luckily other protective gear is not, but other states can require full protective gear.
