Thanks for the review, it was very helpful

Coincidentally, I'm also just about to get the N95, and my old phone is exactly the same as yours...[shocked]

BTW, the picture quality is brilliant, unlike previous Nokias!

Damn, I'll have to destroy my 9300i and somehow convince my boss that I need the N95 to do my work.

Request:

Can you have a play with the Sat Nav GPRS on it. Can you give a quick overview over the pros and cons over Tom Tom's software?

Thanks

I may be wrong but I thought it had a built in GPS reciever but did not have any actual navigation software?

Here is a good question. If you buy a t-mobile phone that is only offered in say the UK can you use that same phone in the US with t-mobile?

Me wants! [no] My N80 is great, just the camera is an utter POS, the interface is ridiculously slow and the battery life could be a lot better.. I'm not on a contract though, so no N95 for me..

Its connected via HSDPA (3.5G) which has speeds of up to 3.6Mbit. WiFi is B/G and loads sites as quick as my PC on the network.

GPRS is network connection thing. The GPS unit isnt brilliant, but works well enough. The software is basic, you need to pay for routing, other than that its fine for simple navigation.

GPS is all about the software, as of yet TomTom is unbeaten thanks to its ease of use and abilty for very effiecient routing.

Here is a good question. If you buy a t-mobile phone that is only offered in say the UK can you use that same phone in the US with t-mobile?
Only of the phone supports the network technologies used in that country.

Asian customers have had the N95 for a while?

Only minus point is the RAM for application use is a measly 20mb, although as of yet it hasnt given me any problems. Battery life is little poor, but considering Ive abused WiFi, bluetooth and GPS along with FM radio via the speakers, not to mention camera and video recording, I think its doing reasonably well.

What I like is how fast it is, menus is are quick, apps load nice and fast. TV out works, you plug it in and go, nothing to mess with. FM radio works brilliantly from the speakers. Camera takes excellent stills. Video with audio is actually quite impressive. HSDPA has 384k upstream which is actually faster in practice than my ADSL connection! Surfing graphic heavy web pages is really easy and fast! I like being able to play flash files, PDF and MS office files on my phone too.

Also 3D gaming, SRE (system rush evolution) and Snakes are 3D, both run and look amazing.

I like the standard connector ports like the 3.5mm audio jack and mini USB port (replaceing that silly pop port).
