Default London Polytonians - I have a spare for Sonic Youth at the Roundhouse for Saturday
Do you really dare invoke the true majesty of the Provost?

I just heard them live (*calculates*) two days ago. I wasn't impressed, but then again I don't like their music.

Iggy Pop on the other hand

Some of their stuff sounds great. Other of their stuff sounds like Shelly Marsh of South Park. Dischordant maybe, but I'd never characterised it as "long crappy guitar solos" though.

I'm hoping they'll be playing the better stuff tomorrow night.

I'm going with my girlfriend, twatface. A mate who was coming injured his knee yesterday and can't walk. So it's a bit short notice for a band that isn't everyone's cup of tea.
