I'm trying to find a picture of a typical New York apartment, im looking for very open plan, with a hard wooden floor, with floor to ceiling windows, bit red metal girders running thought the main spaces. Kinda like a bachelor pad.
Anyone know what im kinda looking for? |

These big new expensive lofts are emerging in the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn and you can find some pictures here:
http://newyork.craigslist.org/search...ooms=&hasPic=1 Just browse those listings, I am sure you'll find what you are looking for. Here is a video of a very nice $4000 a month, 2br loft space... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znWPXwRS7aI |

Ah... What you are looking for is a classic penthouse loft. These are usually located in Lower Manhattan and priced very high.
This is an insane place, insanely priced at $20,000 a month too... http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/fee/317831320.html Here is another one. http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/fee/317100624.html The loft that Sandler had in Big Daddy would be extremely hard to find. It looked like it was a converted warehouse... exposed brick, high ceilings, metal girders, giant windows, huge metal door... Those usually exist in lower Manhattan, DUMBO, some in Williamsburg. |
