Default Need a picture of a typical New York apartment
I'm trying to find a picture of a typical New York apartment, im looking for very open plan, with a hard wooden floor, with floor to ceiling windows, bit red metal girders running thought the main spaces. Kinda like a bachelor pad.

Anyone know what im kinda looking for?

I am sorry, but a typical NYC apartment does not look like that. What you are describing is a loft.

Ahhh, sorry. IM from UK and I always thought that was typical of NY.

Does anyone have a picture of a nice loft then? I love the big red girders and floor to ceiling windows

These big new expensive lofts are emerging in the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn and you can find some pictures here:

Just browse those listings, I am sure you'll find what you are looking for.

Here is a video of a very nice $4000 a month, 2br loft space...

Ah... What you are looking for is a classic penthouse loft. These are usually located in Lower Manhattan and priced very high.

This is an insane place, insanely priced at $20,000 a month too...

Here is another one.

The loft that Sandler had in Big Daddy would be extremely hard to find. It looked like it was a converted warehouse... exposed brick, high ceilings, metal girders, giant windows, huge metal door... Those usually exist in lower Manhattan, DUMBO, some in Williamsburg.

Tom Hanks had a nice one in the movie Big. Wide open with high ceilings and a trampoline!
