The US were waiting for that attack on pearl harbor. Some even say, as I seen in a documentory on Discovery, that the US knew they were coming but did nothing just to be seen as the victim to have the population on their side. Everybody knows that war is good for the economy. SPec. Unbelievable! |

It's ok Ming, let him explain himself. I want to know how me giving my opinion is, at the same time, not growing up. Spec. In my humble opinion, any explanation was redundant after this gem: The US were waiting for that attack on pearl harbor. It may have been a shockumentory but it made sense. Spec. |

True enough. That said, it can be argued that the war was pretty much over by the time the bombs were dropped, and that the real reason those several hundred thousand Japanese civilians were killed was to send a message to the USSR. In reality, Japan was indeed finished... However, having already lost, and admitting it and surrendering are two different stories. If they had surrendered before then, we wouldn't have had to drop them. And, they could have surrendered after the first one. |

Hello there! I see you are discussing Pearl Harbor conspiracy. Perhaps I can be of assistance.
Spec, people who live in glass houses should not gather moss, there is a growing number of posters bumping spammy threads in the name of Christ and the FFZ. 9-11 changed everything, at least you should read the Constitution once in a while. Bebro might quote from Ann Coulter's book "Godless: The Church of Liberalism:" Ben Affleck: I should've died over there. When I was in that water, I made a deal with God. I told him I was sorry, I told him I knew I'd been a fool for leavin you and tryin to go over there and be a hero, and I promised I'd never ask for anything again, if I could just see you one more time... And ya know what? It was worth it. You kept me alive Evelyn, you brought me home. So I'm gonna stand by my end of the deal, I'm gonna walk away and I won't ask you for anything... but I just want to know why... Just tell me that will you please? Just tell me why. Is there a bigger American hero in this land than Michael Bay? Cram it, liberals. |

It was feared that an invasion of Japan would mean massive casualties, among American troops, Japanese troops, and Japanese civilians. Among the American troops who would have been killed would likely have been my father, who was trained as a naval artillery spotter for the invasion. |
