Default Xari's Kindle Library - SUGGEST THINGS!
I finally got a kindle. I'm kind of a book fanatic, and I really like sci-fi/ fantasy books along the lines of Isaac Asimov, Orson Scott Card, Terry Goodkind, Robin Hobb, etc. I honestly like ALL kinds of books, including books by comedians (George Carlin for example) and non-fiction/autobiographies, but I am aiming for sci-fi fantasy stuff I haven't read yet right now. I will list books suggested here and books I have read if I remember I read them (at this point it's easier to list books I haven't read..)

If you suggest it, I will almost definitely check it out, but it has to be able to go on a kindle. Thanks

What book you on? I decided to start on City of Bones since I didn't have much to buy the prequels.

i'm not really into horror/murder mysteries, they have to be pretty amazing for me to bother with them vs. a scifi/fantasy book.

Well I am a huge Stephen King nut. If you need a good book to bring you to Horror he has written many. He also has a few good sci-fi and fantasy. If you want a good sci fi from King read "Firestarter". As for Fantasy, the "Dark Tower" series is a must. I finished the 7th and final book about a year ago. Its actually got a bit of sci fi in the series as well. The Dark tower is part Western, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Drama, with a hint of Horror. Lots of dimensional space travel, magic, guns 'a blazing firefights, etc. And once you read the books you can read what Im reading right now, the Marvel comics adaptation of the Dark Tower that tell the story of the protagonist "Roland" when he was a young man before the story of the books.

You shouldn't post in discussions you have nothing to offer outside the Vent. This is your only warning.

Bag of Bones and Hearts in Atlantis (both by Stephen King)....

Then again you did mention that you like Scifi books, so your best bet would indeed be the Dark Tower series. You should also check out Dean Koontz, he writes scifiey books. Like the Brother Odd series or maybe Frankenstein(I heard this was a good series.)? Strange Highways was good too.

If you're into science fiction novels and don't mind a comedic science fiction novel, you should definitely check out The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams.
