YVD Problems...
I went to check if YVD had updated and put Shooting Star and Red Nova on it. It said it had an update, so I went for it. When I opened it back up, it said...
Runtime Error 9 Subscript out of range What does this mean? Can I fix it? |

Bherrel, you are so helpful. I had this problem aswell. BW I tryed that 8- 9 times and it didnt help.

Delete your set file then re download the set file from xerocreative and put it where your set file was in the first place.
That is what I had to do a while ago. |

This should be similar for other operating systems. |
Dang... I tried uninstalling it, and reinstalling it because what you said didn't work. I'm not an Admin on my comp, because it's a shared computer. So, I can't do that. I'll try repairing the file, maybe that will work.

Did you fix yours Seto?
Bherrel, even tho you are helpful what you posted didnt help me. I looked for a "Run as adminastrator" everwhere but didnt find one for yvd. |
IM me in like 3 hours, or anytine after that.
And inb4myaimdunwork. You can launch it from aim.com without downloading it and log in. I doubt any other method really works tbh. ---------- Post added November 5th, 2010 at 12:48 PM ---------- IM me in like 3 hours, or anytine after that. And inb4myaimdunwork. Same thing happened to me after updating. I tried redownloading the set file, and after that didn't work I tried opening yvd directly from the file folder and it worked, but my other shortcuts won't.
|
Bherrel taught me how to fix it.
You go to your yvd shortcut on your desktop and right click it. Hit Troubleshoot something then hit the second option. Check the second box and then press Start whatever. THen if it works hit okay and hit "Yes blah blah blah". If this doesnt work then post it here and I will help best I can. |
I fixed it, but in a different way. I just uninstalled it, then reinstalled it in my Documents folder. So, I shouldn't have anymore problems.
