Windows Live Messanger problem
 

It says that i have to update to the newest version (which i don't have)

When i go download the new version, the installer says that i already have the product and won't let me update it.

I tried uninstalling it completely (cache files and everything)

Still doesn't work

Help would be appreciated

But i want MSN to work so i can webcam with my girlfriend >.<

try uninstalling the version you have then reinstalling the new version from the msn messenger website?

I've actually tried that already...

didn't work

then you have something screwed up in your registry. if you uninstall it first you should be able to instal the new version

Also check your firewall and security, which may have blocked Messenger for some reason.
