...What about it? You can't really create a discussion from a phrase, but okay, whatever...
Electro Shock Therapy? I'm not really one of the few people who would say that it is bad thing but also not good as well, but it's therapy and therapy, like medicine, has its side effects and that's something that can't be stopped. |

And what is your point? most people, or their family understand the consequences of these kinds of therapy and drugs, as long as people understand what the side effects are and take the procedures (both the patient and the doctor) to ensure that the patient doesn't end up brain dead which isn't always preventable, but the fact of the matter is, as long as both parties understand what they need to do then there is nothing wrong.

It's morally wrong. "Electro Shock Therapy. Discuss thoughts." This doesn't create a discussion, giving information and personal critique on the subject does, explain how it's "morally wrong" instead of just stating it like the phrase "morally wrong" speaks for itself. |

Please, "morally wrong" isn't part of this matter, if you really want to discuss these kinds of subjects, I'd suggest writing down what you think about it personally, giving information on what the topic is and how it works instead of just putting, Personally, I THINK THAT IT'S MORALLY WRONG. For obvious reasons. You can lose your whole personality and mentality to this "treatment". ---------- Post added May 3rd, 2010 at 07:57 AM ---------- HAHAHA I CREATE THREADS TO TALK ABOUT **** THAT I DONT BELIEVE IN. |

regarding the OP,
if this were posted in dabate forum then it would have been locked because in that section it is a requirement for the OP to contain enough information to get the debate going but since this is off topic that is not required. imo his OP contained exactly the bare minimum required (an explanation for what the abbreviation stands for) |
